Robinson R44  Cadet

The 4-seat Robinson R44 is the world’s most popular helicopter, with over 5,000 models produced since 1993. The R44 offers similar handling characteristics and performance to our R66, with high reliability, fuel economy and excellent safety features as well as hydraulically assisted controls – at an affordable price.

Our main R44s in the fleet are the new 2-seat R44 Cadets, derated compared to the Clipper II it is a more cost effective training platform that features the latest streamlined instrument panel layout from Robinson.

The high-performance R44 Clipper II has a Lycoming IO-540 fuel injected, tuned-induction engine, which eliminates the need for carburettor heat. The standard 28-volt electrical system ensures good starting performance in hot or cold weather and provides additional electrical power for optional equipment.
Our helicopter is fitted with USB chargers for on-the-go power, a GNS430 with a secondary radio and bubble windows for enhanced viewing & cabin space.
